King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard | Flying Microtonal Banana | Album Release

The first of five studio albums released in 2017.

Have a taste of the Flying Microtonal Banana.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has released their ninth studio LP Flying Microtonal Banana. The Gizzards used microtonal tuning for this album, which features intervals smaller than a semitone. Microtonal tuning is not found in customary Western tuning octaves.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard plan to release four more studio albums for the rest of 2017. That’s quite a bit if you ask me! Although, I’m not complaining, grace my presence with more  lizard wizard music! What I love about King Gizzard are the bizarre music videos. The video for track #1, “Rattlesnake”, can be found here.
